Here is a sneak preview of the latest photoshoot from our recently completed bespoke kitchen in Putney London. Take a look at the beautiful, soft contemporary, hand painted bespoke framed kitchen.
This recently finished kitchen in the heart of Putney in London, is a perfect example of the our ‘soft contemporary’ shaker style kitchens. Blending the best of the traditional style, with the convenience of all the modern appliances. The contemporary colours from Farrow and Ball, combined with the large Bi-ford Patio doors and modern kitchen bar stools, sit harmoniously with the original Aga and the Blue China. The Shaker Style is a timeless design, which is why it continues to thrive. It allows you to put different design elements together, which is why it continues to evolve.
Open the Bi-fold doors, fire up the chiminea and suddenly the patio becomes instant al-fresco dining. On warmer nights you can even take a dip in the pool to cool off.
This kitchen island has a built-in sink, Quartz countertops and a Siemens cooking hob. There is also plenty of storage for all the pots and pans you will need. At the breakfast bar, you can sit and enjoy the views out to the garden.
The lighting design plays a key role in the space without being too fussy. Select a setting depending on the time of evening, mood or task and the space suddenly transforms. The use of subtle under cabinet lighting set away from the walls help to evenly distribute light discreetly, whilst up lighting illuminates the ceiling adding warmth and depth. While pendant lights suspended above the island and breakfast bar, create an intimate focal point.
SILVERY PURPLE DYED VENEER, BESPOKE STEEL AND GLASS HANDLELESS KITCHEN – PUTNEY
Using a pre-dyed, soft, silvery purple veneer from Italy, we created a new handleless door for the clients second project. Solid lipped and backed in ash that we spray lacquered in a contemporary charcoal grey. With finger rails and plinths also in the grey lacquered Ash.
After a number of unusual and exciting concept designs, all of which included a floating glass breakfast bar slotted into the island, we came up with the dramatic, connected twin island design. For the 3.6m long bespoke steel island linking the two areas, we utilised the incredible skills of Barazza, also in Italy, seamlessly welding in their modern hob and sink with matching ultra thin cubic tap.
The tall cabinets, lacquered in a light grey, create vast storage and house the horizontal line, stylish, Siemens ovens and integrated, Liebherr fridge freezers.
The lower storage island doubles as informal seating; great when the outside bbq is sizzling and the sliding doors open!
